![]() ![]() I'm a huge fan of the way both Russell and Caldwell have swapped genders and made Prez a girl, in this case Beth Ross. America has, for one, sunk into a cesspool of corruption and distaste. ![]() ![]() Presidential candidates argue implausibly stupid solutions to world-hunger (although admittedly, I'd love to sample a taco drone), while the latest American billionaire is hailed once proving his worth on a gameshow by shooting himself anywhere besides the arms and feet. Taking place in 2036, we are first introduced to a desperately yet gloriously outrageous dystopian world where popularity exceeds necessary qualification and, you guessed it, the president can be a teenager. Originally a short-lived series by Joe Simon and Jerry Grandenetti in the 70's, Prez 2015 revitalises the original in a stylised, kickass, imaginative way. (I added a new book file seeing as though the only edition available on Goodreads was a 'sneak peak' now issue #1 is available to purchase.) ![]()
